Join the EOAARA Coaching Team: 2026/27 Season

Are you interested in leading at the U19AA level? The Eastern Ontario AA Ringette Association (EOAARA) is looking for dedicated Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, and Goalie Coaches for the upcoming 2026/27 season.

All Coaching candidates must complete the "Expression of Interest" form to be considered for a Coaching position for the 2026/27 season.

Submission deadline:  March 1, 2026

We need leaders with technical expertise and a commitment to guiding our athletes to their full potential.

• Respect: Treating all candidates professionally to recruit and retain the best coaching teams.

• Objectivity: Utilizing an independent Coach Selection Committee.

• Privacy: Your information will only be shared with the EOAARA President and the Selection Committee.

The Selection Process

1. Expression of Interest: Complete this questionnaire to notify us of your interest.

2. Application & Interview:  All head coach candidates may be asked to submit a formal application and attend an interview.

3. Screening: All coaches must meet Ringette Ontario screening requirements prior to appointment.

4. Timeline: Selections will take place shortly after the Ringette Ontario AA Provincials (March 2026).

Hosting and Coach Selection Process

While we won't know if Ringette Ontario has granted us hosting rights until April 7, we are staying proactive. Ringette Ontario has indicated that our programs meet their current standards, though they have noted that "nothing is guaranteed."

Head Coach Selection

• Applications: If we receive more than two Expressions of Interest (EOI), all candidates will be asked to submit a formal Application Form.

• Interviews: The Coach Selection Committee will review these applications to determine which candidates to interview. We plan to hold these interviews between the Provincials and the CRCs.

Assistant Coach and Goalie Coach Selection

• The Pool: The Committee will review all Assistant and Goalie Coach EOIs to create a "candidate pool." There is no limit on the number of assistant and goalie coaches who can be admitted to this pool. Unsuccessful candidates will be notified.

• Final Selection: Once confirmed, Head Coaches will select their staff directly from this pre-approved pool of candidates.

EOAARA Announces 2025/26 Head Coaches

We are thrilled to announce that Céline Leduc and Alyssa Mainwood will lead our program as Head Coaches for the 2025/26 season! Both were instrumental in the success of EOAARA’s inaugural season, and we are excited to see their continued impact in shaping our athletes and strengthening our program.

Céline Leduc

With over 40 years of coaching experience at the competitive and regional levels, Céline brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to our team. She has also served as Head Coach in the Ringette Ontario High Performance AAA Program for the past three cycles.

“I was fortunate to play the game at the Competitive level and played in Provincials, Nationals and the Worlds. Coaching for me is an opportunity to develop the whole athlete: ringette skills, mental well being, nutrition, off ice training and team building. I am really looking forward to coaching next year as we continue to grow our association and develop our athletes.”

Alyssa Mainwood

Alyssa has been coaching at the AA level for 14 years, including four cycles in the Ringette Ontario High Performance AAA Program with Eastern, United, and Team Purple. As a lifelong ringette player, she competed with the AAA Eastern team and in the NRL with GCRA and Gatineau.

"Coaching to me is so much more than simply winning or losing. This sport and the coaches I had growing up are the things that helped shape me into who I am to this day. I strive to be the type of coach my athletes can trust and respect, while continuing to develop as ringette players and people."
